Mindful Living Week 1 (Friday)

The First Step is Always the Hardest- Day 5 Happy Friday!! We have made it through the first week of blog posts! As well as accomplished another week of living! I don’t know about you, but I am definitely ready for the weekend. But there is still work to be done.  I hope you all have found the time to follow along this week as we have been cleaning our living spaces. If not, I hope you find the time to start this process this weekend. It may take a while, so remember to be patient, progress takes time. But by doing this, we are encouraging ourselves to build habits with a fresh start.  Today’s Tasks Today’s tasks may seem tedious, but if you need to spread them over the course of the weekend, please do so. We are finalizing the touches on giving a deep cleaning in our homes. I want to remind you all that I know every living situation is different, so some may have other spaces to organize and clean than what we have talked about.  Organize and declutter the living room.  Sweep, mop,

Mindful Living Week 1 ( Thursday)

The First Step is Always the Hardest- Day 4 Happy Thursday!! The week is almost over, that means we are almost done working on our living spaces. Yesterday I hope you all took the time to relax, and do some self care. It is so important to allow ourselves to have that time.  However, today we are nearing the final stretch of this series which means the next two days will be work filled. But do not worry!! We are so close to beginning our habit building.  Today’s Tasks Today we are focusing on areas in our living spaces that we have not yet done. With the hope that you have started the organization of your other spaces, today we will be focusing on the kitchen. These tasks can be big, but I believe you can get it done.  Clear off the counters of any clutter that may have built up over time. Organize it and dispose of any trash properly. Go through your whole living space and gather any dishes that may be laying around, and put them with all of the other dirty dishes and begin washing,

I am so proud of you all, as well as myself because I’m doing it with you!! I hope you all accomplished what you wanted to the last couple of days, but if not that is totally okay!!  All of us have crazy schedules, so realistically many of you may not have been able to start on your journey yet. And that is okay!! That is the specific reason for what today’s blog was designed for.  The lists are observable and public at any time so you can always go back and follow the tasks at your own pace.  Today’s Tasks Today I want you to try and do the following: Take a break!!!!!! We all need days to recover (I did this myself today). Take your free time today to get any other things that you need to get done in your life completed. However, if you feel that this will

Now, I know this first step can feel overwhelming and you may say, “Well I don’t even know where to start!!” Do not worry! This task is broken up into a series of steps to help cope with those overwhelming feelings.  I hope that you all were able to get to bed at a decent time and I hope you all were able to accomplish some of the tasks I recommended for Monday’s Blog. If you didn’t, that’s okay! We are working through this together, if you did, great! Cleaning our living space is not easy for many, and this is a judgement free zone.  Today’s Tasks Each day is going to be a progression with an end goal to better help your mental health through allowing yourself to have a “fresh start”. I did this myself, and let me tell you, it is so much easier to build my habits in a clean space. With this in mind today’s tasks are going
